As the year 2020 came to a close, the waifu game genre maintained its allure among mobile gamers in France. Sensor Tower has compiled data for the top five waifu games, presenting an intriguing picture of their performance during the fourth quarter.

Honkai Impact 3rd - Part 2 by miHoYo Limited saw a notable spike in revenue, reaching $28K in the week of December 21, after starting at $11K in late September. Downloads for the game peaked at 12K in the same starting period but gradually decreased to 5K by the end of December. Weekly active users showed a downward trend from 49K to 34K over the quarter.

ILLUSION CONNECT from SuperPrism Technology Co., Limited, which was released in October, quickly climbed to impressive revenue figures, hitting $56K in early November before settling down to $20K by the year's end. The game's downloads surged to 17K in the last week of October, following its release, but subsequently tapered off to 1K. Active users followed a similar trajectory, starting at 5K and peaking at 18K before decreasing to 8K.

SuperPlanet's Sword Master Story did not generate revenue in the initial weeks of Q4 but picked up to $3K in the first week of December. The game's downloads had a strong start at 6K in the first week of October and levelled out at around 800 by December's end. Weekly active users mirrored this pattern, with numbers declining from 4K to 1.8K.

MUJOY PTE. LTD.'s Idle Angels: Goddess' Warfare showed consistent revenue throughout the quarter, fluctuating between $4K and $6K. Downloads saw a peak of 2.6K in the third week of October, while active users exhibited a rise from 2.5K to 4.1K in the same period, before both metrics gradually decreased to around 800 downloads and 2.5K active users by the quarter's end.

Lastly, Azur Lane by YOSTAR LIMITED experienced a remarkable revenue peak of $32K in the final week of December, contrasting with lower figures around $3K to $9K in preceding weeks. Downloads remained under 1.1K throughout the quarter, with weekly active users experiencing a slight upward trend from 2.6K to 3.2K in early December, concluding the quarter at 2.6K.
